Newman Associates was tasked to design and fabricate supports for numerous upgrades and retrofits to this existing facility.
Project highlights include:
- Design and fabrication of supports for the return activated sludge pumps and the expansion of the existing filter building
- Pipe support design for a vast odor-control cover system. The odor control supports were designed to bear upon a load restrictive cover system. This meant all supports needed to be specially designed to meet this criteria along with snow, wind, and thermal loading conditions
- Design and fabrication of supports within the secondary clarifier tanks, odor control scrubber system, aeration system, UV disinfection building, and blower building
