Brian currently holds the position of Vice President. Brian began with Newman Associates in 1999 . He oversees the day to day operations for our Technical Support – Software and Hardware, Communications Systems, Reports, Contracts, Pricing, Equipment Leases, Employee Benefits and all Human Resource functions.
Prior to Newman, Brian was the Eastern Region Sales Director for Lynx Golf Company from 1994−1999 where is was responsible for fourteen sales representatives covering the geography from Maine to Florida.
Brian started his business career with Philip Morris USA after graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He worked at Philip Morris from 1977−1994 and positions included Sales Rep, Division Manager, Regional Sales Trainer, Senior Account Manager and was New England Section Operations Manager from 1987−1994.
Brian looks at the longevity of employees at Newman Associates as a great strength and this provides a level of confidence from management for each person to do their job, whatever it takes. Individually, he enjoys the ability to be responsible for and perform multiple duties covering many aspects of the business. His long-standing business motto has always been “Plan your work, work your plan”.
