Joe is the General Manager where he oversees all warehouse operations and fabrication of engineered components. Joe is responsible for the fulfillment portion of Newman’s business – making sure we get there when we promise. Joe spearheads the pricing and procurement of raw materials. Additional duties include, acquisition and ongoing operational safety of all trucks and warehouse equipment.
Joe began his career with Newman Associates in December of 1995. Working his way up to the Fabrication shop and running all special orders, Joe was promoted to Operations Manager in 2001 with his duties expanding to include the warehouse operations.
In 2004, after consolidation of all operations to our facility in Canton, Joe was promoted to General Manager, overseeing Newman’s warehouse and fabrication facilities.
From 1998 to 2007, Joe spearheaded the effort for Westwood Systems to become AISC simple bridge certified. Since then Joe has expanded into providing products and materials for large projects including Water and Wastewater Treatment facilities, Bridge and Tunnel Construction sites.
Joe has honorably served our country as a United States Marine.
