Rich was promoted to President of Newman Associates, LLC in August of 2014. In addition to sales, Rich is also responsible for driving Newman’s growth and continued market leadership by delivering, supporting and expanding products and services throughout the Eastern United States. As part of this mission he focuses on driving coordination and teamwork throughout Newman Associates. He is also charged with building and maintaining relationships with Newman’s largest accounts and partners.
Since joining Newman Associates in 1988 Rich has steadily risen through the ranks at starting at the ground floor as a warehouse associate, where he learned the very core of what Newman is about − delivering quality and service at every level of the business.
From there he was promoted to inside sales, where he saw opportunity with every customer interaction as an opportunity to deliver excellence. In 1995, Rich moved to outside sales where he was responsible for the Eastern Massachusetts Region.
Shortly thereafter his responsibilities expanded to include all of Massachusetts and Connecticut. In 2005, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales. Since then, Rich has spearheaded Newman Associates into providing project management and engineering services for the construction industry.
